After last night's...terrible, terrible experience in the common room, Luke was planning on a nice, relaxing night in his room.

Under his covers.

Whimpering.

Artoo, on the other hand, was at Luke's desk making many, many CDs of the performance.

He'd also propped the door open when Luke wasn't paying attention. Evil droid.

But Karal could be depriving others of the joy of ownership! And it wasn't like Artoo had anything better to be doing. Artoo put the CDs safely in a compartment and rolled away from Karal. No, he would be keeping them. Thanks, though!

Karal glared at him, eyeing the desk chair, highly unfamiliar thoughts tempting him, and then the lump on the bed. "Fine. You are the most unreasonable mechanical creature I have ever met," he said, eyes narrowed. "And this is not over."

Artoo trilled and spun in a circle.

Artoo really enjoyed being aggravating.

"You are extremely aggravating," he huffed. "Do you enjoy making people unhappy? Do you enjoy making them have to hide because something that wasn't their fault has caused them great humiliation?"

He may be exaggerating the point slightly.

He rolled over and poked at the pile of blankets on the bed to make that point.

Karal huffed again. "Then you obviously have a very poor moral character," he decided. "Luckily I am a priest and so have the means to help you with that."

The smile he was trying to hide certainly wasn't evil in any way.

Artoo let out a worried little warble and rolled further away from Karal.

"I'm sure it's not your fault," he said with sympathy. "Your education is simply lacking, is all. Let us see if we can fix that." He sank to sit on the floor with a great deal of dignity, folded his hands, and started reciting the Writ.
