Luke was putting the last of his belongings into bags and boxes and trying not to be too upset about leaving Fandom forever tomorrow morning.

Outside his alcove, Artoo was selling copies of Fandom's Greatest Humiliations over the last two years for what he felt was a very reasonable price.

Whenever the melancholy threatened to overwhelm Luke, he'd look over at the little droid who'd begin to whistle "Doe, a Deer."

Artoo wasn't big on feeling sorry for yourself.

"It really does," Luke agreed with a tight smile. "Stupid destiny."

"Yeah, whoever invented destiny sucks," Meg joked lightly. She sighed a little. "I'm gonna miss you."

"I'm going to miss you too," Luke said. "I'm stocking up on marshmallows to take back with me, and hoping Artoo will erase the gremlin-bite videos."

Artoo blew a raspberry to let Meg know how likely that was.

Meg giggled at Artoo. "I don't think that's going to happen. But maybe you'll be able to convince him not to show videos to everybody."

"I'm just hoping he won't sell them to the nearest holodrama production company," Luke admitted. "I'm...kind of well-known at home."

"So you're saying The Singing Nun starring Luke Skywalker would make a lot of money where you're from?" Meg asked. Maybe she shouldn't be saying things like that in front of Artoo.

Artoo made excited beeping noises.

"Yes," Luke said.

"Well, at least you know if you get embarrassed out of your galaxy you can always come back here," Meg said. Where he would still probably be embarrassed. But probably to a lesser extent.
