After a few hours poking around on the X-Wing with Artoo and a quick check to see if Leia had written--she had, and there was still no sign of Han--Luke flung himself onto his bed and began to practice with the Force.

Yoda was not excited to be one of the things chosen to be juggled.

Seeing Luke distracted, Artoo made his way stealthily towards the door.

"Don't even think about it," Luke said sternly. "Last time you got out, you came back covered in cake."

Artoo whistled innocently. "No," Luke replied.

Artoo made sulky noises and rolled back towards the corner.

Luke shook his head, bringing himself back to the present. "And your friend wants to change," he said. He smiled. "Besides, who'd want to make you unhappy?"

That made Molly blush and look back at Artoo.

Luke smiled at her. "I didn't mean to make you uncomfortable."

Molly looked back at him and smiled. "You didn't. It was just... unexpected," she said.

Luke shrugged, beginning to blush himself. "I'm not good with the, you know, talking thing."

"It's okay," she said with a grin and turned back to Artoo.

The thought that she ended up unhappy even though people didn't want her to be flitted through her head before she quickly squashed it down.

Luke caught the change in emotions, if not the exact thoughts she was having.

"You okay?" he asked, concerned.

Artoo moved closer, beeping.

She grinned at him again. "Just feeling a little sorry for myself. I'll get over it." She gave Artoo a pat.

"Anything you want to share?" Luke asked, trying not to push.

"Nah," she said and stood up again. "I'm still working on it. But, thank you for asking." She gave him a hug again.

Luke hugged her back. "Sure," he said. He smiled a little wistfully. "I'm still getting used to be able to understand what I'm feeling from other people. I don't mean to pry."

"It's okay. I know you didn't," Molly told him with a genuine grin. "I should go though." She hugged him again. "I'm glad you're back."

Luke gave her a smile. "I'm glad, too," he said. "See you soon, Molly."

"For sure," she said before turning to Artoo again. "It was very nice meeting you, Artoo. I'll see you soon too." Then she headed out the door. "Bye!"
