After his workshop with Mr. Winchester, Luke came back to his room to convince Artoo that Leia had gone home.

Artoo, still in the closet, remained unconvinced.

"I wouldn't lie to you about this," Luke told the door, rolling his eyes. "She came, she saw him, she had ice cream, she went home. Really."

Artoo let out a mournful whistle.

"Fine," Luke said, flouncing back to his bed. "I'll be over here, practicing levitation with Yoda who's a turtle again, thank the Force."

Yoda? Not thrilled by getting spun through the air again, but he couldn't talk any more, so no one cared.

The door was cracked open.

"Depends," Luke said. "Did she run away afterwards?"

Luke grinned again. "I've been told that's a good sign."

"I won her a pink stuffed fuzzy thing," Gavin said. "At the festival thing on Friday."

"I love stuffed things!" Luke frowned. "I don't know where that came from..."

"I didn't win you anything," Gavin said, trying to stifle his laughter. It didn't work.

"Well now we'll never go steady," Luke told him with a snicker. "I only put out for presents."

"I could never date a guy named Wormie," Gavin laughed.

Luke snagged the last cookie and stuck his tongue out at Gavin. "Whatever, angel."

"My heart!" Luke said overdramatically, giggling.

"Love is our art!" Gavin exclaimed, throwing up his hands.

Luke burst out laughing. "Oh, the squirrels are going to have a field day," he said, waving out the window at them.

"Maybe the guy on radio will be nice," Gavin said, waving that the squirrels. "Maybe?"

"I'm not sure 'radio' and 'nice' have ever gone together," Luke mused.

"Maybe they'll get our names wrong," Gavin suggested. "That could happen!"

"That would be great!" Luke chirped. "I...bet that won't happen."

"Probably not," Gavin agreed, having heard the radio a few times. "This place is weird."

"Someone turned a pillow into a cow," Luke said, eyes wide. "I think that goes a little past just 'weird.'"

"Something about revenge?" Luke looked equally confused. "She's not from this world either and was getting tired of being teased about not knowing how things work."

"It wasn't a translator droid or anything," Luke said slowly, "but I think the person who received it understood the message."
