Luke's hand kept straying back to the lightsaber at his waist as he glanced over at Jo while they walked through the quiet town. "So what are we going to do with him if we find him?" he asked quietly.

"Ridiculous child, I am a weapon," Anakin retorted, moving quickly towards the dorms, "and I have a lightsaber. What I don't need is to get a call from the clinic finding out that my only son has decided to turn himself into vamp bait."

"It's not like I don't know how to defend myself," Luke protested, wincing as his father's fingers dug into his shoulders. "Death Star duel striking any bells?"

"He's the one who gave Rory her scar," Anakin hissed in Luke's ear, voice loud enough to carry to Jo as well. "He never gets that close to any of mine again. Got it?"

"I think he like me," Jo remarked to Luke, trying her best to ignore the rather undignified frog-marching.

Luke gave her a bright smile. "Totally," he agreed. "What are you doing for the holidays? Assuming we're allowed out of our rooms?"

"Didn't have anything in particular planned," Jo replied. "You have any ideas?"

"He," Luke tossed his head towards the glowering Jedi between them, "said that Rory invited us all up to her place in Connecticut. It'll be cold and snowy but other than that it should be fun."

"I like snow," Jo said with a grin. "And maybe it'll help someone cool off."

Not that she was naming names or anything.

Luke? Totally burst out laughing.

Anakin glared at both of them, then stopped dragging them walking when they arrived at the gates. "Bed. Now!" he barked.

"Yessir," Jo said, attempting to look meek and innocent.

Anakin gave them one last look, rolled his eyes and stalked off into the night.
