After a few hours poking around on the X-Wing with Artoo and a quick check to see if Leia had written--she had, and there was still no sign of Han--Luke flung himself onto his bed and began to practice with the Force.

Yoda was not excited to be one of the things chosen to be juggled.

Seeing Luke distracted, Artoo made his way stealthily towards the door.

"Don't even think about it," Luke said sternly. "Last time you got out, you came back covered in cake."

Artoo whistled innocently. "No," Luke replied.

Artoo made sulky noises and rolled back towards the corner.

Molly nodded. "Yeah. Why?"

"Angel had invited me when I met him back around Homecoming," Luke said. "I'd really wanted to go."

"Awww. I wish you could have come too," Molly said and then grinned. "You could have gone to Disneyland with us."

"Disneyland?" Luke repeated, looking confused.

"It's a huuuge amusement park and it's lots of fun!" Molly told him. "There was even a simulator ride that made me think of Anakin. He would have laughed at it," she added with a chuckle. "The one we used in his workshop is so much better."

Luke's smile almost reached his eyes. "He would've loved that," he said. "Did you tell the people at the park that you'd been on a better one?"

"Nah. The people who work there just run it. They wouldn't care. I knew though."

"That's what counts," Luke said, nodding. "Were there any other rides? I've never been to a park like that."

"Oh, there were tons of rides!" Molly said with excitement. "The rollercoasters are the best though. You sit in these little cars that are all hooked together in a short train and they ride on tracks that go way up high into the air and then you plunge down a big hill and sometimes there are loops and it goes really fast and it is as close to flying as you can get without actually flying!"

Luke grinned. "Like the Boonta Eve podraces, but without the death?" he asked. "I was only allowed to see those once."

Molly grinned and nodded, remembering the race from Anakin's flight workshop. "Yes. A lot like that. Especially the 'without the death' part."

"I have to find one of these parks around here," Luke decided. "It sounds like fun."

"Oh! Good idea!" Molly said. "There has to be one within a few hours of here. We'll get a lot of people to go. It'll be so much fun!"

Luke bounced a little. "Sounds like a plan to me! When it's not so cold, maybe?"

"Definitely," Molly said with a nod. "If there are water rides, it's no fun to go when it's cold because you either freeze to death or can't go on them at all."

"Rides with water?" Luke's eyes were huge. "Really?"

Molly giggled at his reaction. "Uh huh. Lots of water. Some of them, you can get totally soaked."

Artoo let out a worried whistle from his place in the corner.

"I'm sure you'd be perfectly safe," Luke assured him.

Artoo rolled over to Molly and beeped a polite greeting.

Luke smiled. "Molly, this R2-D2. Artoo, this is my friend Molly."

"EEEEEE! You have a robot! He's so cute!" Molly said and knelt down in front of Artoo. "Hello, Artoo. It's nice to meet you."

Artoo burbled in glee, complimenting Molly on her excellent taste in droids.

Luke laughed. "He says hello, too. Artoo is an astromech. He helps me fly the X-Wing."

Artoo beeped something very uncomplimentary about Luke's recent flying trips. "That's not very nice," Luke said, scowling.

Artoo ignored him.

Molly frowned, not knowing who Artoo had been talking about. "What did he say?" she asked curiously.

Luke rolled his eyes. "He was pointing out that one of the last times we flew together we crashed into a swamp." He pointed a finger at Artoo. "That wasn't my fault."

Artoo let out a deeply unconvinced whistle.

Molly giggled. "That's cool that you help fly his ship, Artoo. What else do you do?"

In response, Artoo opened most of the panels on his frame. A small satellite, a dinner plate, more arms than should be possible and a barbecue fork burst out of various holes.

"What doesn't he do?" Luke replied with a laugh.

Molly sat down cross-legged in front of Artoo now and started to check out all of his attachments. "You are so cool, Artoo. I have a friend who is a robot, but he can only do stuff with computers and electronics. Although," she chuckled, "I will admit that he would look kind of silly with cool stuff like you have here because he looks like a human and doesn't have anywhere to store it all."
